9-year-old, small Shetland Pony gelding

IN NEED OF RESCUE:

This 9-year-old, small Shetland Pony gelding has an ongoing issue with a skin fungus that's causing large portions of his coat to fall out. In the winter months, this is especially a problem. His owner has asked help to find him an appropriate home that can manage and treat his condition. He is a registered Shetland, and his papers can be obtained. Said to have been "kid broke" at some point.

Located in Oakdale, CA.

I would be interested in fostering/rehabbing this pony for you as a companion for my mini horse. I have owned horses for 30+ years and have a good amount of experience with ponies and equine skin conditions. We also foster for Great Pyrenees Rescue of Northern California. We have 5 acres set up for horses in Felton. I can offer vet and farrier references.
