"Broken Glass," aka Blake, was rescued from a slaughter auction in December 2012 by our friends at Farralone Farms. He was dumped at auction less than one month after his last race at Santa Anita, still wearing three of his four racing plates. His fetlock had been recently fractured, so was deemed unsound for racing. So there to auction he went.
On x-ray, it's been shown the small fracture to his fetlock will require injections two times a year to keep him sound for pleasure riding. He is sound and ready for trails, and has a great, gentle temperament for it. Not for a show / eventing home.
This snuggle bunny of a horse will also make a great companion for human or horse alike. If seeking a bit of Thoroughbred royalty to add to your family, please consider Blake!
