Bucky (Buckminster?) is settled in for the night at the hospital, on some plush shavings, bute, with a full plate of food in front of him. Good news is it's confirmed there's no pulses in his feet, but his increased lameness even on bute was enough to worry us about waiting for tomorrow's appointments, in an uncontrolled field setting. Rotation for a foundering horse can set in fast, and that isn't the time to arrange transport. By acting ahead of major incidents, we're able to ensure our continued record of maximum health for our rescues.
For now, we've done all that we can. And all fingers crossed!
