Emaciated "Chiron" has arrived at his foster in Saugus, after a few days at the hospital to make sure he was stable, with no signs of colic. But other than some hind leg swelling, so far so good.
Chiron has a passion for....alfalfa pellets. So we're allowing him to indulge in them. A little bit of Safe Choice "Special Care" to get him started with supplemental vitamins and amino acids, as well.
He seems a kind, gentle horse that likes to follow people around, like he appreciates our company. Knots on either side of his neck appear to be scarring from ample injections given to him in the past. Perhaps used for match racing before his days as a dancing horse?
Welcome home, Chiron!
