IN URGENT NEED OF RESCUE:
"Gold On Gossamer" is a 10-year-old Kentucky-bred OTTB mare by Gilded Time, and out of Iristuka (by Stuka), with earnings of $48,000 at the major California tracks. Her last owner grossly underfed her, and then left her with a friend inexperienced with horses, but who knew enough to know her condition was very poor. Thankfully, she contacted AHR, asking for help.
The mare is likely only trackbroke, and has only one prior breeding. As of 3 weeks ago she was underweight and covered in ticks. Her new owner can not afford to keep her, but does not want her ending up anywhere bad. Can someone please help her?
