The Warmblood x mare, rescued this weekend alongside OTTB "Then There Was You," was examined by Dr. Kemper at West Coast Equine Hospital today. It was decided, based on today's examination, the mare is a Grade 2 "wobbler," along with narcolepsy, and the best course of action will be to try a round of oral steroids to see if her condition improves. We're looking for a foster local to the Somis area for the mare to stay with for the next 3 weeks of treatment, before her re-check.
