Another beauty saved this weekend was this 17 hh racing Quarter Horse, found by AHR at a Central California auction, scared and dribbling urine.
For $125, he was saved, and transported to our ranch, before heading to his new adoptive home with Valerie and her son Chris.
Before heading onto his new home, we conquered one more challenge -- Who was this handsome boy?
After a few hours of staring at his faded tattoo -- it was deciphered. This was 2005 racing Quarter Horse "Hawkinsons Alibi," sired by multiple graded stakes winner Hawkinson, and a grandson of First Down Dash.
We're excited and hopeful for yet another lucky horse saved.
