Hip 136, the BLM Mustang mare and foal, are settled in at Nancy's ranch in Indio. The mare, who we've since found out was bred back (making three lives saved), is little more than halter broke. But with a level head, beautiful proportions, and clean legs, Christmas has come early for Nancy!
Though the foal is estimated to be 4-6 months old, a standard age for weaning, Nancy is in no rush to separate the two. After passing through so many unknown hands, auction to auction, it's time for mom and baby to relax in safety together.
