Lucky adoption #2 this weekend was, my personal favorite, a "foster failure"!
Linda did a magnificent job training Jessakar for us the past few months.....and whaddya know, in the process, she fell in love with "Jesse"! We couldn't ask for a better "forever" home for this 4-year-old OTTB, a home that already understands her fully, adorable quirks and all. We're excited to see her progress in her training -- with her new mom!
Jessakar, a daughter of Tribal Rule, was rescued exactly one year ago at auction. Emaciated, with severely over-trimmed feet, and a fully matted mane, she was a sad sight... It wound up being, Jessakar required extensive rehabilitation before she could be adopted out.
Those 12 long months were worth it, and this happy baby girl now has a great future ahead. A future of love, scritches, and dressage lessons!
