"Jessica" is a coming 2-year-old Appendix Quarter Horse, rescued back in 2012 as an emaciated 6-month-old filly, with dam "Go Little Flurt" by her side. They had originally sold at auction to a "private buyer," then returned a few months back, as walking skeletons. Thanks to foster Andrea, we were able to rescue them out of the "auction circuit," once and for all.
Jessica is out of Dash For Cash mare "Go Little Flurt," and is by the stakes-winning Thoroughbred stallion "Silver Ray," although she is unregistered. Absolutely amazing breeding in this little girl!
She is quite little still, standing in the 13 hh range. Jessica is halter broke only at this time, and is ready to begin groundwork. Very sweet, personable and typey, at that!
