Hip 179, a large mini pony mare, was rescued Saturday for our friends at Ventura Farms.
To our surprise, we found out the next day, this little pony wasn't supposed to be at auction. Her owner had given her to a friend just two months prior, the friend assuring the family she would be safe forever with him. Instead, little "Bella" went to auction..
A beloved pet was just a short step from becoming an overused pony on a sweep, or neglected in someone's backyard.
Instead, she will be living in the land of paradise (Ventura Farms!), for the rest of her adorable days.
