Poor Mr. "Tony the Pony" has been having a number of medical troubles lately we've been trying to resolve. Some edema in his belly and chest, face and throat latch, along with a crusty, itchy muzzle leads Dr. Rathbone at Byerly Vet to think a possible allergy issue, but to be sure there isn't something deeper going on, blood was drawn today.
Tony had to have his teeth re-floated last month, and it was decided he's likely in his late 20s. So, Mr. Tony is looking for a retirement/hospice home to live out his remaining days, pending approval from the vet. Otherwise, Tony is a very easy-going pony, very grateful for any kindness given to him. If you can help us with Tony's vet bills, please donate through our website www.auctionhorsesrescue.com or through our Paypal [email protected].
