So much happened this weekend, we're only now catching up on the updates.
On Sunday, we found two Thoroughbreds at an auction needing rescue. The older Thoroughbred, identified as "Clover Creek," was savagely defending this little Thoroughbred by his side, with an injury to his eye. A trader wound up leaving with Clover Creek, but we were able to rescue the gelding Clover was so concerned about.
Now, fostered in Dixon, CA by Jodi, his assessment begins. Jodi has this to say about him, so far:
"I think he's probably 8yo.(definitely under 10yo) He's got limited vision in that right eye. EXTREMELY sweet and quiet! Sound. Straight legs. And he's a TALKER!"
Sounds like a great start. We hope Clover Creek is ok wherever he ended up, but at least, though he may not be aware of it, his little friend is in good hands now
