Thank you to everyone....today, along with the addition of Boston Baked Bean, we were also able to rescue the crippled paint mare, called "Gimpy" by her old owners, along with her best friend, the 20-something year old Racing Quarter Horse mare (named "Queenie") after selling today as part of a ranch dispersal.

The girls will head to their local foster tomorrow, which will be the paint's hospice home, while we look to place Queenie.

If you would like to help us with our always relentless efforts, with multiple new rescues taken on this weekend, we always need help with funds. Please help! Our Paypal is [email protected]

Other ways to help include donating to our hospital fund at West Coast Equine, by calling them directly at (805) 386-7151

Also, we are always in need of hauling help -- and homes! Old broodmares like Queenie are always the hardest to home yet, in our opinion, are the most deserving. Please considering adding an old broodie to your herd!
