With the passing of Blonde Bounty, and our weekend of non-stop rescues, including a colicking Boston Baked Bean, the rescues back home still needed their regular care.

Yesterday, Dr Sullivan of West Coast Equine Hospital came out to administer vaccines, clean a few sheaths, and float Clubhouse Rules' teeth. It's been confirmed Clubhouse's inconsistent soundness is due to mild pedal osteitis, so come tomorrow -- farrier day -- this 5-year-old Thoroughbred will have pads put on with her regular set of shoes.

We rescued Clubhouse Rules from auction in January, with severely over-trimmed feet. She had to overcome a bout with laminitis early on, brought about by the extreme physical trauma to her thin soles.

We hope to get Clubhouse going, finally, so she can find her forever home, just like half-sister Jessakar did - just last week!
