For $100, we were able to rescue this young Thoroughbred stallion out of a livestock auction. Thanks to adopter Michelle, he'll be a gelding come Thursday! Tonight, he's at his new home in Vista, settling in.
The underweight stallion was, like so many horses who arrive at auction, confused and hypervigilant. He didn't realize that, aside from a gelding surgery to come, he really didn't have anything to worry about. Luck was on his side. And, perhaps, a bit of fate.
