Okie Cat, Queenie Juanita, and the scared Quarter Pony are en route to their various adoptive homes in Northern California, courtesy of Chuck Erb Horse Transportation! Congratulations to Judy, Louisa, and Corri on their brand new family members!

The caretaker of the ranch explained the scared Quarter Pony goes by "Justy" (for "Just Horse"), and the sweet man weeped as he said goodbye to his best friend for the past 10 years. He told us Justy was rescued from a horrible abuse situation many years ago, and the missing patch of hair on his forehead in fact reveals exposed skull, from being beat with a 2x4. We promised him many updates, and not to worry, he will be a spoiled pony for the rest of his days. No auctions, and no slaughter in his future. Just an excited Corri and her daughter

Up next, Peanut Butter! Her transport to Norco is pending, where prior adopter-turned-rescuer Kelly is eagerly awaiting her arrival!
