More of "Dashing Lady Bug" and her pretty trot. We've rescued a number of Quarter Horse ex-racehorses, and Lady Bug was one of three just over the past few weeks. We have no idea where she's been since she came off the racetrack, many years before, but other than being a bit underweight and needing a pair of shoes, she doesn't seem to have suffered any permanent damage. Sadly, this girl went through auction last month, receiving no bids other than the kill buyer and us.. And she was ours, for $140.
