Raspberry Girl/Chincoteague Pony update:
Adopter Suzi has fallen head over heels for her new pony mare she adopted just a few weeks back. But, Suzi took on this mare aware she was on the list awaiting a kidney transplant, thinking she had a lengthy 3-year wait. Instead, just a few days ago, Suzi received word she was bumped to the top of the list!
That means Suzi needs help. Either by finding a new adopter, or someone willing to foster the pony through the months she goes through her organ transplant and subsequent recovery.
Raspberry Girl is a sweet, 12-year-old Chincoteague Pony. Standing at 14 hh, she is unbroke, though gentle to handle. Behaves very well with other horses.
Ideally, Suzi would like to resume Raspberry's training once she is well enough to do so. Could anyone in the Southern California area, ideally close to Chino, foster her through this?
