Tentatively ID'd as 2004 Thoroughbred mare "Kallieflower," by All Thee Power and out of Kaliope Star (Sentinel Star). Ran at Golden Gate Fields and Bay Meadows (yes, GGF has been informed. No, there is nothing they can do). Horse has severe proud flesh, reeks of dead flesh, was given to current owner today in this condition -- still wearing one racing plate, so likely match raced up until recently. Mare is close to 16 hh.
That's all that's known. She's currently in the Turlock area of Central California. Current owner will give to rescue or private rescuer for cost of gas, just wants to get her to a home that can get her well.
