The shine and sparkle is coming back to Chiron's eye, as day by day his strength returns. Once a proud stallion, he will be one again.
We've had some scares along the way, as part of bringing back such a seriously emaciated horse, is dealing with the circulation problems that can accompany it. Fortunately, even on the coldest days, Chiron is a huge fan of having his sheath and legs cold hosed! Making the "chore" of keeping the swelling down, that much easier.
We seem to be conquering that battle, and Chiron seems unphased. Onward and upward, to the sleek, shiny, full-figured horse he will someday soon be.
